Brand Ambassador

I'm proud to be a brand ambassador for both Rustii Cartridges and Kanzo Care, two brands whose products I genuinely enjoy using and recommending.

Rustii produces high-quality tattoo needle cartridges that I love working with and that are trusted by many of our artists at Black Opal. Kanzo Care is another brand I'm proud to represent, with products I use throughout the tattooing process, from stencil preparation and process butter to caring for the finished tattoo.

Sponsored Tattoo Artist

I am proud to be sponsored by Extreme Numb & Tattoo Everything Supplies!

We only recommend & use products we genuinely trust at Black Opal Tattoo Studio, so it means a lot to work alongside brands that deliver such high-quality products consistently!

My Biography

About Me

Originally from Walsall, I discovered my love for art and tattooing when I was just 17, and it’s been a huge part of my life ever since.

Although I enjoy working across a variety of tattoo styles, my real passion is blackwork, dotwork and mandalas. I particularly love creating feminine designs, from delicate florals and fine linework to intricate ornamental pieces and my signature ‘Cursed Ladies’. More recently, I’ve also started taking on opaque cover-ups, which I’ve really enjoyed getting stuck into.

In 2019, I moved to Newcastle-under-Lyme to be with my now husband, Sam, who I run Black Opal with.

Between us, we have seven children and a Cavapoo called Norman, who is very much the centre of our world!

Life outside the studio is usually pretty busy with the kids, but whenever we manage to get a rare evening to ourselves, we love going out for a nice meal or escaping to a cosy log cabin somewhere.

We’re both huge music lovers and enjoy going to concerts whenever we can. We’re also massive Baldur’s Gate fans, and Thursday nights are reserved for our regular Dungeons & Dragons sessions with some of the other artists. We even have a custom-built gaming table with a 50-inch screen for digital maps. Yes, we take it pretty seriously!

Something people might not know about me is that I’m also a keen baker. I actually took a break from tattooing to pursue baking professionally, but after 18 months, I realised just how much I missed tattooing.

As much as I enjoyed baking, my heart was always in tattooing, and coming back to it was one of the best decisions I made.

These days, I feel incredibly lucky to spend my time doing something I genuinely love, creating tattoos that are personal, meaningful and completely unique to the people wearing them.
